Hi Soccer! About the Russian FDC, I think that items are Sarmatian or Scythian;
These were the peoples who inhabited the steppes of today's Russia, and their decorative style was quite peculiar - as shown on the FDC. Regards,
Sorin

Hi Soccer!
Unfortunately the informations which I have ore not on internet; it's about the special art-style known as "steppes art" and which is attributed to the Scythians, inhabitants of the Eurasian steppes from around 1000 BCE to 1rst century CE; see more on Wikipedia. My friend in Russia hasn't internet so I can ask him in real time - sorry!

Hi Soccer!
Do you think that somebody is checking the postal rates? Maybe at the post office, but also there, with a smile and a chocolate, you can afford some derogations, almost everywhere on the earth!
